About the UP WITH ART Exhibition
Up With Art is the annual exhibition of artwork by students of the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District and is hosted each March by Fairbanks Arts Association. March is National Youth Art Month and Alaska Arts Education Month, and the Fairbanks North Star Borough School DIstrict and Fairbanks Arts Association team up each year to honor our students. The Up With Art exhibition gives the community an opportunity to view exemplary art created by students in grades PreK through 12.
The 36th Up With Art originally opened in the Fairbanks Arts Association's Wandering Bear Gallery on Friday, March 6 and saw an early closure 10 days later due to COVID-19 concerns. That was not how Fairbanks Arts wanted to celebrate Youth Art Month, so our staff has created this website to give Up With Art an encore! Please enjoy this online exhibition through the end of April!
